Equipment Changes on Engine 3 and Engine 1

Effective Oct 2, 2008

· On Engine 3, the 3" supply line has been replaced with 200' of 2 1/2" for the BlitzFire. Remember if you need more than 200' you can use the 2 1/2" from the high rise packs in the compartment.

· On Engine 3, please note the BlitzFire is in the forward most officer's side compartment.

· On Engine 3, the Sawz-Alls have been moved to the middle officers side compartment.

· On Engine 3, the 5" to 2 1/2" wye is back in the truck in the forward-most coffin compartment on the top of the truck, so consider using the 5" supply into a 2 1/2" for long lays.

· On Engine 1, the 3" that was on the 2 1/2" attack line on the right rear has been replaced so that it is all 2 1/2. The three inch has been moved to the apt line on the left rear.

· One Engine 3 and Engine 1, all of the 1 3/4" inch fog nozzles are new pistol grip styles. An early warning for everyone remember to keep the nozzle in front of you and resist the urge with the pistol grip to hold it at your side. Nothing will irritate Chief Pressley more.
